Aboytes

Association
Son de México

Mexican association with the objective of spreading Mexican culture and tradition across Europe.

In 2009 I joined Son de México as a dancer. For someone who had never danced before, being suddenly surrounded by skirts, boots, music, machetes, etc, was like a cultural shock... of my own culture!

One year later I started working on the group's website revamp, and since then I've been responsible for the association's online presence.

The website was developed with WordPress and the design was adapted by modifying its CSS files directly.

These are some of my responsabilities:

Here a couple of examples:

And what the client thinks of my work...

I've known Jorge for almost 10 years. Having never danced, he learned easily and with enthusiasm, becoming the first dancer of the company. The social skills and professional competence he always shows, his positivism and loyalty have turned him into an essential reference in the group and my right hand, the person that I trust and who I grant the maximum responsabilities.
Always eager to learn, to improve and to move forward, but with humility, honesty and generosity. It is a great luxury to have him with us and to carry out projects by his side.
